Two hours only works if the machine stays up
A 2 hour timer fails more often from sleep than from a wrong clock. Before you press Start, set the computer not to sleep, plug it in, and play Test sound at the volume you will need later. A phone in a pocket is a bad host for a two-hour browser alarm. Use a machine that will stay open and awake. This is a page in a browser, not a hardware timer and not an emergency alarm.
Two hours is a study sitting, a long meeting you already regret, or a reminder to check something the recipe or the washer said would take about that long. It is not permission to leave food, heat, or a child unattended. If the real need is “look after this,” a person has to be around. The chime only marks the moment you chose.
Break the two hours up even though the dial is one number
The page opens at 2:00:00. You can still edit it before Start. Most people cannot do two hours of one hard task without a pause they planned. Decide the pause in advance: at one hour you stand up, then you continue, and the timer was never paused. Or you pause it honestly. Do not pretend a twenty-minute distraction was part of the work. The 1 hour timer is the cleaner tool if you already know you will stop at sixty minutes.
The finish time is fixed when you start, and the display reads the clock, so another window does not stall the countdown while the computer is awake. The tab title shows the time left. Space pauses, R resets to the fields, F fills the screen. Reload abandons the run and returns to two hours. Nothing is uploaded. For a length that is not a round two hours, use the online timer and type it. The maximum there is 24 hours.

Two hours is still not a calendar
If the event is New Year, Halloween, or a date you type, that is the countdown timer. If you need the count of days, use days between dates. If you need to know how long something took, that is the stopwatch. A 2 hour timer is only the promise that this sitting ends at a moment you can point to.
